Data base of auto recyclers by state

that is a good resource but I agree it is tailored toward the current models of cars. I scanned my state for three huge lots I know of that has nothing newer than early 80's, none was listed..also, lots of local yards here in my area is also not represented here due to they do not pay to have their phone numbers published in the yellow pages..I do think this is the source of the listed businesses..

I am amazed at the number of companies in my area that do not list their businesses in the yellow pages..is it really that expensive? or should I ask, are they really that cheap?

We knew someone who sold yellow pages advertising. It was not inexpensive; she did quite well on the commissions.

did not open the link, but there is a HUGE yard in Nicoma Park, OK, a 'berb of OKC. It is named Shady Nook Auto Recyclers. It has been there since 1949 and they don't crush. Seen today, a '28 Dodge Brothers 4 door in very good condition, 41 Chrysler, 48 Plymouth, 2 B series trucks, 3 C series trucks, a bunch of Power Giant & Sweptline trucks and a W Series Town Wagon. Not cheap by any means, but tons of stuff, including Challengers, Cudas, etc...
