1940plymouth Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 This morning my son, Shane and I installed the new headgasket on the Plymouth, put all the necessary items where they belonged, added oil, then antifreeze, no leaks while adding the antifreeze. We started the car, let her run to check for leaks, there were none, so I decided to take her for a drive, put on five miles, ran good, didn't get hot and no leaks:) Getting ready to go for another ride, this time Cooper will go with me:) Thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions. RobertKB Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Bob, glad things worked out so well. If you have not already done so, don't forget to retorque your head once the engine has warmed up. Quote
