Trunk Mat - P-15

Can't seem to find out what the specs are for the original trunk mat in the 1946 -15. Rubber, fabric, color? Does anyone know?

Rubber with ribs running for and aft.

Also it has a cut out so it goes around the spare tire well.

Any idea where to buy the material? What color? Or does anyone sell a repoduction already made?

Its black. some one was selling on e bay a while back. It was similar but not correct.

Yes, black rubber with ribs.

They do seem hard to find.

Not therefore authentic, but I just had a carpet made to match

carpet in the car.....which is also incorrect, but I like it.

I found very thick leather mats while on my trip to China. These would look real nice in the trunk or bed of a truck. Here the leather mats are used on a sleeping bed. They have very hard beds here.

Several years ago, I bought a N O S front rubber mat somewhere, still

in the box rolled up. It went in OK, but over time began splitting in

various places due to age. It was low useage since the car doesn't

get driven all that much and stays in the garage. But I haven't found

anyone making new reproductions lately.
