CAL8P569 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Can't seem to find out what the specs are for the original trunk mat in the 1946 -15. Rubber, fabric, color? Does anyone know? Quote
Frank Elder Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Also it has a cut out so it goes around the spare tire well. Quote
CAL8P569 Posted March 9, 2010 Author Report Posted March 9, 2010 Any idea where to buy the material? What color? Or does anyone sell a repoduction already made? Quote
greg g Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Its black. some one was selling on e bay a while back. It was similar but not correct. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Yes, black rubber with ribs. They do seem hard to find. Not therefore authentic, but I just had a carpet made to match carpet in the car.....which is also incorrect, but I like it. Front floor of a P15 had ribbed rubber mat with "horsehair" carpet in the rear. Quote

Here the leather mats are used on a sleeping bed. They have very hard beds here. Quote
Young Ed Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Here you go you can kinda see my original one Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Several years ago, I bought a N O S front rubber mat somewhere, still in the box rolled up. It went in OK, but over time began splitting in various places due to age. It was low useage since the car doesn't get driven all that much and stays in the garage. But I haven't found anyone making new reproductions lately. Quote
