greg g Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Located in Texas, says rebuilt by Mustang Rebuilders about 6000 miles ago, converted to 12 V. Looks like a truck bellhousing. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220041170084&fromMakeTrack=true Quote
Young Ed Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Looks quite reasonable. Too bad its way to far away. And to follow up to the 5spd swap questions from the old board thats a great example of what the truck bellhousing looks like. The 2 bolt holes on the side get an inverted L shaped piece on them which then hangs from the frame. Merle Coggins Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Yes and No. It looks similar to a truck bell housing, with it's side mounting holes, but where's the clutch shaft? And that's quite a snake he has Quote
greg g Posted October 28, 2006 Author Report Posted October 28, 2006 So maybe it was attached to his stationary snake pump, hence no clutch shaft. Quote
Young Ed Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 There looks to maybe be a plate bolted over the clutch shaft hole. Quote
PatS.... Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 The industrial engine I bought had a front sump(now for sale), a downdraft manifold, a six blade fan and the motor mount has to be changed. It was in a large snowblower. Quote
