Norm,

Is there something wrong with the front end of that bike? Something looks strange in the photo.

I see those Boss Hoss's around all the time. There's a dealer for them out in Merton.

Don,

Would you settle for this one? :D

Merle,

Nothing wrong with the bike in that picture. The problem is with my scanner. It's been acting up lately. You should see what it did to the front wheel when I scanned the other picture. The scanner made an egg out of the front wheel. Something is wrong with the feed on the scanner and it distorts things sometimes.

Don't think I've ever seen a bike made with a wooden frame. Don't think I'd want to ride that one at all. Last bike I had was a Yamaha 400 (midnight blue). Sold it about 1988 when I first started getting arthritis in my hands. They would swell and couldn't control the bike. Finally had the bike endorsement taken off my license in the late 90's.

I'd rather have one of these.

With a 434 cubic inch dart-racing block, which is supercharged creating 650-horse power, it just might be the closest thing to flying you can do without leaving the ground. The Widow Maker gives you the ultimate in performance without sacrificing comfort or safety. Providing such safety features as an all chromoly frame that is reinforced throughout to withstand the fire breathing power that this monster produces. Equipped with Wilwood 4 piston dual caliper front brakes and Wilwood 4 piston-racing rear brakes which supplies enough stopping power to stop even the fiercest of beasts. The Widow Maker was designed to harness the power of a race vehicle without sacrificing any of the comforts that Las Vegas Trikes is known for.

That bike is featured in the Dec 2006 of American Iron. I think it is a cool bike and it does get ridden.

That radial engine is a hobby engine it is made by a company called Rotek it is 172 ci and puts out about 110hp and 160 ft lbs torque.

Did you get that pic from Oshkosh?
