1949P17BC Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Will 3/4 15 inch wheels fit on a 1/2 ton? Is the lug pattern the same and are the lug bolts the same Quote
oldmopar Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 3/4 and 1/2 ton are different will not interchange. The 1/2 ton should be the same pattern as the cars. Quote
lugnut123 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 the 1/2 ton was a 5x4 1/2 desine. Many fords and dodge cars used the 4 1/2. The 3/4 ton I think is a 5x4 3/4 design. A 5 lug chevy/gmc 1/2 ton from the late 70's used the 4 3/4 type. Hope this helps. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 3/4 ton trucks have a 5" bolt pattern on the wheels vrs. a 4.5" pattern on the half tonners. Merle Quote
greg g Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 I have a set of 5 X 5 inch 16 inch wheels from my Studebaker Project. My Current plans do not include using them as I have a set of GM rally wheels on the truck now. Currently they are mounted with 245 85 16 Michelin radials. Which are way bigger than the originals (7.00 X 16) Send me a PM if you can't find any thing else. I am still using 2 as rollers. Quote
41/53dodges Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 if you look at some of the dodge pickups at the salvage yards, they occasionally have 4.5" with similar looking rims that run modern sizes. Quote
