I couldn't resist. I bid on the two 'em. Probably won't win, but know you how auctions can make you do crazy things. I have a really rough 48 I love, and have been buying every part on ebay for the past few months.....but hey...why not bid anyway. I'm listed as 68dodgerboy , just case any of guys are bidding along side o' me. Thx for the heads up.:D

Hey "Olddaddy"...Have you seen my truck? I've restored many muscle cars (I do my own body+paint+engines)but if I make the 48 shine ...it'll be my Opus.

Wasn't me Reg........tried, but flinched......I was trying not to inflate the price, but would have paid more than the winning bid. Little disappointed.:(

I came to my senses and didn't bid on these trucks because I am enjoying life too much. Wife would have taken mine cause I just bought this last week.

Hey Reg, are you sure you built enough car port space? :D :D

I didn't Merle so I'll most likely be selling these pretty soon. :(

What's with # 37? Is that just the number of the year or is their some significance to it? I have a 37 and remember a Racer that raced a 37, but it was White & Purple. Can't remember his name right now. I also have a model of the Plymouth race car. Just wondering.

Reg either of those have a hemi?

Alas....no Hemi's Ed. The 56 has a 269 poly and the 57 has a 315 poly.

That's a strange place to put a tree, Reg. :P

Those trucks look nice. Too bad I live so far away and have no spare cash. :(

Merle, the tree is my fail safe system for the notoriously weak E-Brakes on these trucks.;)

I'll take payments !:D

You've lost me there jtw3749c with the #37 question. Must be too early in the morning. The coupe is a 38. I do remember seeing cars shaped like this racing around a dirt circle track. Their rounded shapes were conducive to landing back on their wheels in a cloud of dust after rolling a few times. This one escaped that fate.
