grey beard Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Hey Reg, Is this just an extra truck, or has the president's economic stimulus package not trickled down to sunny CA yet? Looks like a very nice straight truck. What part of Pennsylvania you live in? Good Luck Quote

Reg Evans Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 (edited) Hey Reg,Is this just an extra truck, or has the president's economic stimulus package not trickled down to sunny CA yet? Looks like a very nice straight truck. What part of Pennsylvania you live in? Good Luck No "trickle down" here in the sunny outback of Pennsylvania yet Dave. At this point everything of mine has become extra. This truck on eBay is named Older Yeller. I hope Old Yeller doesn't have to be next. ________________________________________________________________ Holy Cow Charlie. You've got a deal. Let's just trade pinks and deeds. Be warned though....the green grass here in Grass Valley isn't. Edited September 22, 2009 by Reg Evans Quote

Reg Evans Posted September 23, 2009 Author Report Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks Carl. It looks like she's got a bid already and I don't have a reserve so if the bidder comes through with the $ she's sold. Quote
Vintrader Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Reg, I see you sold her. I hope you are not to sad to see her go. Dutch Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 Thanks Dutch, Yup,Older Yeller sold. I still have Old Yeller though so I'm not too sad . The new owner is coming from Santa Clara in about a week to pick it up. He says he doesn't want the flattie so I am pulling it before he gets here. Quote
Young Ed Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Reg did that car you picked up cheap sell? If not you can now get it running Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 It didn't sell Ed. Several people wanted parts from it but I can't see doing that to the car. Yeah.......maybe I could put the six from the truck in it if the one in there now doesn't free up. Quote
grey beard Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Reg, Any other truck parts or accessories for sale at this point? Thanks Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 29, 2009 Author Report Posted September 29, 2009 What are you looking for Dave ? Quote

Reg Evans Posted March 25, 2010 Author Report Posted March 25, 2010 UPDATE from 6 months ago. The truck sold and the body is going to be placed on a newer chassis. When it sold I told the new owner that I would buy the good running 230 back from him for $250. He is taking the truck apart this weekend and wants me to come and get it soon. He may also throw in the frame, wheels and tires,3 on the tree and the 4.11 rear end. Anybody here interested ? It's in Santa Clara,CA. John-T-53....you might want this until you get your engine fixed. It's near you. Quote
Bob_Koch Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Invite the guy to the Lodi BBQ. The engine is his ticket. Quote
tom'sB2B Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Hi Reg I'm looking for three wheels that will fit my B2B that will take the small moon hubcaps. I live just over the hill in Santa Cruz. Thanks Tom Quote
Reg Evans Posted March 25, 2010 Author Report Posted March 25, 2010 OK, I'll check with the guy that bought the truck. Quote
John-T-53 Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Reg, Know any details about the motor? How many miles, etc? That's cheaper than the second fix I'll have to do! Quote
Reg Evans Posted March 26, 2010 Author Report Posted March 26, 2010 John, No ideas on the history of the truck or engine but scroll down on this thread for the results of a compression test. I do remember that the valves were noisy and needed an adjustment but I didn't own it long enough to do that. http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=11066&highlight=Older+Yeller Quote
