B1B Keven Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 I'm getting her back on the road. Any recommendations for batteries, voltage regulators and tune up parts? 1949 B1B 218. Thanks! Quote
Reg Evans Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 I buy all those parts at my local NAPA or Auto Zone. Just bring in the old parts for comparrison. Quote
TodFitch Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Your local "better" auto supply store for all those items. That's the store with the old people behind the counter, probably still equipped with paper catalogs. Buy there even if their prices are slightly higher than the big chain bubble wrap places. You want to buy there because tomorrow you will want a part that you can't get at the bubble wrap auto supply and you will need that locally owned better auto supply to still be in business. Quote

greg g Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Ask the counter guy to give you a discount card. It for 5% off and it says sat and sunday but I have used it dring the weel without question. Quote
