Guest Gerhard Tieseler Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Names, actually! I recently attended Chrysler school for my job, and at the end of class the instructor gave us the new Miller special tools catalog. It looks like they still sell the brake drum puller brand new! I still want to check through the catalog for other special tools, but that caught me by surprise. I don't know of any modern Chrysler product that would have a need for that puller. Anyway, this is a nice new forum, and it's nice to see you all. Gerhard Quote
Merle Coggins Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 I just bought a new drum puller from my Matco guy. He had it on his truck so long that he took it off and stored it in his basement, so he gave me a good deal on it. But I believe they are still listed in their catalog. Merle Quote
rearview Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 I think the most recent use of the tapered 2 piece axle that needs a puller would be an old AMC 20 axle? If you had problems with a Dana 60-80 you could probably use it just for the drum. Quote
Young Ed Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 The 84 Jeep dad had a few summers ago still required that drum puller. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 At the last swap meet there was one selling these NIB for 40.00..very nice vacuum molded carrying case...he sold his inventory early...I expect him to be back with more this year.... Quote
