Niel Hoback Posted June 29, 2009 Author Report Posted June 29, 2009 looks like the kind of a paint job I would do. Quote
Brendan D25 Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Too bad the pic is not a little bigger, but I'll guess that it is a 1954 Vauxhall. Quote
greg g Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) Looks like a GAZ Pobeda or Vivtory from the late 40's converted as a rail inspection car or work crew transport. The car was began design in late 1944 and was first produced in 46 makig it Russia's forst post war car. Production was also licensed to a plant near Warsaw in Poland, whihc as noted above maufactured it under the Warsawa nameplate. It was also licensed to be manufactured in Pyonyong N.Korea. a 50 hp L head 4 provided the power. Oh and they even have some 2 tone schemes that might work on P15 and D 24's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yAWgQuRNB8&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Frussian%2Dcarz%2Ecom%2FGAZ%2Dvehicles%2FGAZ%2DM20%2DPobeda%2F&feature=player_embedded For those ineresed in the Polish Warsawa as a lorider Edited June 29, 2009 by greg g Quote
