Congratulations on your win.

Oh, and why is this thread titled with "OT" (off topic)? Seems like taking a P15 to a show is perfectly on topic.

I just went to the York, PA street rod show on Saturday. I was surprised to see quite a few P15s. Of course, all were modified in one way or another, but still it was good to see them. In the past, they seemed to be scarce at the street rod shows.

Congratulations on your win. Nice to see that a few more Mopars are being recognized. Time was that if you drove a Mopar you knew a Ford or Chev would win regardless.

Jim......how are you doing the pictures??

Are you first loading them into an online photo album, like PhotoBucket or

Flick'r.

Or are you putting them on your own computer under My Photos?

See Norm's note above about how you might need to do.

Hope this helps some. createlink.gif This little doodad

you click on to add from a "URL" location.

attach.gif Use this paperclip from up top to create a "thumbnail" which will

become larger when you click on it.

Or, use this for some other web address.......like from an album......

don't need any buttons, just go to your photobucket or flicker or whatever you use and right click on the pic link and copy then go to your post and right click and paste and you are good to go.

Jim, your pic you sent me is in .tif format. I converted it to .jpeg, uploaded it to my Photobucket and copied the link below the uploaded picture to my post.

If you can switch your camera to take .jpeg, it's better for these forums.

.tif is a better format for a print, but usually way too big for a forum.

There is a free program to resize called Irfanview, although if you have a .jpeg image Photobucket has different sizes you may choose right on the site.

Pat Thanks I'll work on the picture taking and the camera. The green 40 Plymouth in line behind me is a friend, the car is a hot rod or restoe rod, chev drive train, he owned

There Hollywood smothie's. I have a sign I put on the car at show's "Its all stock except Mirror's and wheels " The paint was on it when I got it and people think its a Hot Rod.

There surprised when they see the flat head and inside. I'll get it painted maybe.

Norm: mine are the same adjustable, I had to go buy metric allen wrench to adj, they didn't come with it.

Bob: If I keep spending money on the car I might have to use the sign. My buddy that was at the show called today and said I had no brake light, now I know why cars stayed far behind me. I found the wire from the light switch to the brake switch bad, replaced it and while I was at it I converted the light to dual fillament bulb its bright now. Not as bright as the car. Jim

I like yellow also. Here is my 48. It was rusty primer when I got it a year ago last May.It also is all stock exept for color and interior fabric. I did all the work myself. My First full paint job on a car. Painted it on my driveway. I've got a OD trans to stick in it and would like to "soup up" the flat head. I would like to put some flames on it coming off the red on the front fenders going into the doors. I get the TAXI thing all the time. That was not what I was after. I like restored cars but I thought that I would have fun with this one. The restorer in me still put this back pretty much stock.

Thanks Bob

You wanna see 46-48 Plymouths in all sorts of colors, just click on this

link to "Carnut" and then go to the Car Pics Index on upper right.

Then select Plymouth.......then the year.

When you've seen them for 1946 then return to that index page and

bring up 1947, etc. Most of those cars are modified, ie. street rods.

But there are lots of colors to choose from. My car is even in the

47 section.

As you can tell by looking, the publisher attends a lot of shows.

Actually, i rather like the sort of coppertone brown color on my coupe.

There are very similar colors on various brands of new cars.
