coW52Dodge Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 A buddy of mine alerted me of this, saying "I found you the perfect parts truck!!". It is apparently a couple of mines from where he lives. It has been there a while..... Quote
48Dodger Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Wow....."been there awhile" is sayin' it all. lol. Amazing pics. 48D Quote
carl b51 Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Looks like a good parts truck , But I would make them unload the wood . congrats looking at the paint sceam it seams you have a 53 Spring Special. Quote
coW52Dodge Posted April 26, 2009 Author Report Posted April 26, 2009 Btw, I was joking suggesting it was a parts truck. It is apparently someone's lawn ornament at this point. This is in Idaho, where stuff just does not seem to rot away, it seems. Quote
MBF Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Check out those parking light housings. Unreal. Quote
woodscavenger Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Where in Idaho, my wife wants to visit. Quote
coW52Dodge Posted April 27, 2009 Author Report Posted April 27, 2009 Where in Idaho, my wife wants to visit. He lives in Wilder (near Boise) so not far from there. I'll ask him. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 I've seen plenty of flower beds, but... Cool photos, Thanks Merle Quote
Young Ed Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 I like the stack of 3 road side flares laying in the bed. Quote
Jim Gaspard Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Anyone want to bet me there aren't more than 57 rings on that tree. Jim in Dallas Quote
coW52Dodge Posted April 27, 2009 Author Report Posted April 27, 2009 Okay, I got a reply from my buddy: It's on the northwest corner of Plum Road and Hoskins Road outside of Caldwell, ID. If you put "Plum Road & Hoskins Road, Caldwell, ID" in for a location on Google Maps, it'll pull it right up. It's up behind the barn.http://neil.us/stuff/tree-truck.jpg Quote
woodscavenger Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Since the tree looks like its been there a while it's not much of an add for a workhorse PH truck. Looks like is gave up the ghost very early in life of that is a fast growing tree. It might have a tap root right in a well. Quote
