I just saw this on CNN Yvonne De Carlo 'Munsters' star, died of natural causes Monday at the Motion Picture & Television facility in suburban Los Angeles. Dennis Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 I don't think most people realized just how old she was when she was Lilly Munster... Quote
Justin Slingsby Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Such a beautiful woman. Even when she was Lily Munster I thought she was pretty. Rest in Peace. Quote

Olddaddy Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 I thought she was the most beautiful woman in Hollywood, Rest in Peace. The first doll we ever bought my little daughter was Lily Munster, follwed imeediately by Herman. Quote
55 Fargo Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 All the good old show stars are passing on to the big studio in the sky it seems. I loved this show, Herman's Hot Rod was a real cool George Barris creation, was it not? Ms. Decarlo was a Canadian by birth, born in Vancouver BC............Fred Quote
Guest Nile Limbaugh Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I guess I'm getting old. It seems like all of the great movie stars are passing on but the sad thing is, it seems to me, that there aren't any coming along to replace them with the same talent. Glenn Ford, Steve McQueen, John Wayne, Lee Marvin, guys like that. And the ladies! Lauren Bacall alone still makes me cross-eyed, not to mention Jennifer Jones, and a whole bunch I can't name any more! (Definitely getting old) Oh, well . . . Quote
Tim Frank Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Jennifer Jones passed on? Hadn't heard that...worst news all week. Quote
