JIPJOBXX Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 You guys know I'm a nut when it comes to my 42 Dodge and have worked on it for nearly 20 years on and oft. But one thing come to my mind about my old Dodge. When I took the hood oft I completely prepped the hood and painted it with a rust primer. Well not thinking to good I just put that old hood in one of my work areas and left it there over winter. Well guess what? some tom cat decided to spray all around that shed. Yep he got my newly prepped hood and I did not notice it till I went to get it. Well that urine was like acid and eat the metal and left a mess for me to figure out how to repair my perfect hood. I had to re-sand the whole hood and then use body puddy to fill in all those spots where Mr. Tom had left his wonderful calling card. What a disaster and boy was I piste. So the moral of the story don't leave your spare parts at bay or a little pussy might just try to take ownership of your property in there own way. PS. That young boy with helmet on is now 26 years old and placed number two in his law school last year and of course I'm one prod dad. . Quote
dezeldoc Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 I know what ya mean, I have a bunch of the miserable things around here and they have gotten a few of mine, then again I have gotten a few of them! Damn renters move in and all of a sudden they need a cat or dog then 4 months down the road they get throw'n out, and guess what the animal stays. got me a trap and off to the pound they go now!! Congrats on the kid!! Quote
bkahler Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 Jipjobxx, What brand and model is your little camping trailer? When I was a kid (40+ years ago) we had a Go-Lite trailer that looked very similar to yours. Thanks! Brad Quote
Joe Flanagan Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 When I first started sandblasting my Plymouth, I used to get sand that came wet. I would spread it out on the driveway to let it dry overnight so I could use it the next day. One day I went to collect all the sand and put it in my blaster and I found all these oblong objects in it. I picked them up with my bare hands and said, "What's this?" Turns out they were cat turds. Like a dummy, I never realized I was creating the biggest litterbox in the neighborhood. I vowed never to do that again but I paid for it. Try shooting sand that is soaked with cat urine out of your sand blaster. You'll need a respirator. The ammonia smell will kill you. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 We've had the same problem around here. Lots of stray wild cats running around the past few years. I trapped one in my garage a few years ago and had the pound pick it up. However, seems like there are less of them running around now. Only saw one all last summer. There have been reports of Coyote's in the neighborhood lately, so maybe they ate some of the stray cats. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 tell the truth Norm..we all know cats are very wok-able creatures... Quote

Norm's Coupe Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 Don't eat at Norm's. Not to worry about me serving you cat for dinner. However, about 3 years ago a Chinese couple bought the house kitty corner across the street from us. Then about 2 years ago a Hmong couple bought the house next door. So.........maybe that's where the cats went. They are always having parties and cooking outside on the grill. Hmmmmmmm........could it be that they are serving grilled cat? :D Quote
Flatie46 Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 That reminds me the best Chinese food in town is right next door to the animal shelter. Quote
