Ed I have been assured by several POC judges that Bulleyes were NEVER installed in a

P15 at the factory. Furthermore, one told me that he thought it was highly improbable that any owner would have had bullseyes installed when being serviced by the dealer later in the cars life, notwithstanding they would have been considered an upgraded safety item. This when they were standard equipment in cars only a year or two newer, and dealer parts rooms would have had them by the score.

Therefor having them in my car was a judging deduction. Perhaps your evidence to the contrary should be forwarded to the powers that be within the judging fraternity of the POC so they can update their knowledge base and revise their judging sheets accordingly. Or could your car also be the victim of a wayward dealer installing one as a replacement for a burned out standard sealedbeam bulb.

What kind of headlights were installed at the factory before 1949?

6 Volt Corcoran Brown headlamp bulbs were installed up to 1948-they have a slight yellowish tint to the lighted beam. I have OE's in my T&C.

The original bulb from my car isnt a bullseye. Just a plain looking bulb. Only difference I've really noticed between it and a modern bulb is the nubs on the glass. The original one doesn't have any.
