Fireball Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Any of you guys familiar with this Vendor, he seems to have plenty for everybody http://oldcars.fotki.com/ Quote
Frank Elder Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I got all excited about the 1944 dodge command car, clicked on, and all it was was a powerwagon with a different bed. Lotsa different stuff to look at though. Quote
Young Ed Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Thats not just a power wagon with a different bed. There is no bed. Its got 4 openings for doors. Its not supposed to have that hard top on it (at least not any i've seen) Quote
Frank Elder Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 To me it's just a different bed, it sure doesn't float my boat. Didn't mean to mislead..... Quote
Young Ed Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Sadly someone cut the back of the body out to form a bed area. That should have been seats. Quote
Reg Evans Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Here's another example of what was done to these old military 4 x 4's. I recently traded this to a buddy for an OD trans. Quote
47heaven Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Man, that's some pretty pricey "rust" he has. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 The guy fireball is talking about is in Palmyra, MO. Here's one P15 in the bunch. Palmyra looks to be northwest of Hannibal, MO home of Mark Twain. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl&q=Palmyra%2C%20MO This coupe for $5800 appears drivable......but can't really tell its condition. Kinda high in my book. Wonder if he negotiates. Seems to be selling complete cars, mainly. Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 I ought to check it out the next time I'm driving through Palmyra. I'm surprised I've never notice that place before. I've yet to see a dealer of "classic cars" that wasn't overpriced. Quote
