Niel Hoback Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 How did we get from restoring a 36 Chevy to this? Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 Some sort of a segue in there apparently. Amazing the turns these posts can take. Quote

RobertKB Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 What insurance company:confused: Medical insurance is my biggest challange for retirement. Not a problem in Canada. Free univeral health coverage. If you want the extra perks you can get insurance for that but basic health care is free. Quote
55 Fargo Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Not a problem in Canada. Free univeral health coverage. If you want the extra perks you can get insurance for that but basic health care is free. The one blessing out of such high tax rates in this country. There are better systems than Canadas in the world , but ours is pretty decent. I would hate to be worrying in the USA, if I could not afford decent Med coverage for myself or family. What happens you guys, if someone has a massive heart attack, and has no insurance, will some hospitlas still take you in and administer medical intervention. Quote
moparalltheway Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 I vote for the 54 Dodge with a Hemi! You could do a pace car replica? Quote
Young Ed Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Hey Ed, now I could really go for that, give a glass of milk and two weeks and I would be driving that to the store:D That car would be easy. I think I have those rear fenders in my wood shed. Rodney that car is probably for sale. Its in a junkyard here in MN. http://www.frenchlakeautoparts.com/ Quote
Young Ed Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Jim, Ed I forgot about those models, wood is still in our lives. You see how different these models are, I'm talking about inner wood not outter:) wow lots of lemon pledge in you'alls future:D Rodney besides the bed floor the trucks have a large section of the cab floor made out of wood-basically the truck equivalent of the removable piece of a cars floor. Also the cab mounts and running board mounts are wood too. Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 I have a 1953 chevy truck with wood floors and I love it. That truck looks great. The woodie's are so complicated. At one show over the summer I saw a woodie convertible great looking car. Quote
