epix1718 Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 It was originally a blue car from what I've heard.. then later on my grandma decided to have it painted silver, she also wanted a bunch of roses painted on it (she owned a floral business) but that never happened amen! Typhoons were pretty rare, less than 5000 made during the 2 years they were produced, they were quick stock, and modded like mine they are much more so Also dumb question; but whats "floor start"? Brendan D25 Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 No such thing as a dumb question. The earlier cars had a small round pedal on the floor that was pushed for starting and later they moved to a pushbutton on the dash. Brendan. Quote
Dennis Hemingway Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Also dumb question; but whats "floor start"? That button with the spring above your gas pedal is your starter button. You turn the key on then step on that button to start the car. Dennis Quote
Young Ed Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 And as you will soon discover you can crank the car over regardless of key position. Usually once or twice a summer I wonder why my truck won't start. DUH key isn't on. Very good way to flood the engine too...... Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Click on the link above to see picture.........that item hanging at the lower left corner of the dash is the radio head/dial. You can see the speaker down between the clutch and brake pedals. It had an older style two part radio. The knobs look kinda crunchy, though. Quote
