Don Coatney Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 I bought my dad an 8MM movie camera. This is stills from the only movie he ever took with it. I was 13 years old. This was my second or third car the first one being a 1949 Plymouth. The truck is a Dodge retired post office truck. I am not sure of the year. Quote
randroid Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Don, If I read the frames correctly, you used the mail truck to push start it and then drove it directly onto a snow-covered road. Some people's kids! That looks like a good memory to keep around. -Randy Quote

Don, Christmas day 1961 I was big 34 days old, my Very First Christmas, but as hard as I try just can't remember that Christmas, musta been the strong formula I drank. You were doing well at 13 years of age, you bought your Pop an 8mm Movie Camera, you musta had a paper route , or pumping gas at a filling station. Nice pics, cool old car...........Fred Quote
Captain Neon Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 I could do the math for everyone, but I'll just say that you are 2 years older than my parents. Will you adopt Ed and me as your nephews? Quote
