OT-Very Important (Do Not Call list!)

We have the same in Canada but charities can still call, pollsters can, and any company you have dealt with before. I have registered and I believe I get less calls but I still get more than I want. Still better than nothing. I understand the Do Not Call List in the US has more teeth than in Canada.

Thanks for the link! Just did my 7 lines, I am getting sick of the jerks " this is your second notice your factory warranty has expired " Man I wished I could send 200,000,00 volts through the line and destroy their equipment!! at least 3 times a week or more!!

I wish they had something for junk mail, I get tons of it. I've thought of saving it up for a year and sending it back to whoever sent me the most!:D

We were on the old list and forgot to renew it. Then we started getting a lot of phone calls at home again. So..........I made my own "Do Not Call Device". We just look at the Caller ID. If it's a call from a number we don't know, we don't answer it. If the Caller ID says "Unknown Caller, Unknown Number", we don't answer those either. Then the call is answered by the machine. 99% of the time those callers don't leave a message, so it wasn't important anyway.

We did sign up again though for the new list.
