crazy, even for laptop memory banks.

just go to the goldenram website with that laptop/pc and run the test to find out what you can add. It will then give you options and prices.

Works for every system I have worked with sofar.

At least the models I recognized in the listing of computers were also very obsolete. I guess if you were trying to restore an old laptop you might pay a lot of money "just because".

But it would make more sense to buy a new high end laptop with that money or two or three new entry level laptops for that same money.

I notice that eBay shows on that same page other similar auctions some of which are currently at 1/100th the asking price. Maybe they just slipped the decimal point when they started the auction.

only draw back is wether your mother board is congfigured for that much ram..that is your limitation....run a check on myou motherboard and see how much you can expand ..that is the reason I got a new computer as I was limited to 512 meg max..les than than on my older computer..say 256meg...the older the system...the more likely you will not be able to upgrade to a huge size...
