Does anyone's gas gauge bounce around as the gas sloshes around in the gas tank? Up until last year I didn't have a working gas gauge. After purchasing and installing a new sender from Roberts, the gauge accurately registers when the ignition key is turned on, but when motoring down the road, the needle moves quite a bit.
Last summer I had the opportunity to watch several days of filming of a movie to be released Dec 2008 staring Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet, Revolutionary Road. I was very fortunate because the historic town of Southport Connecticut (about 2 miles from my home) was converted to yesteryear (1950's). The town was filled with cars of that era. I was able to snap a few photos. Recognize any Dodges'?
I wrote these numbers down a while back. Front Shocks at AutoZone Monroe #410126 guardian shock
Rear Shocks at AutoZone Monroe #078476 proguard shock. Hope that helps.
Reg you beat me to it. I have been putting off mounting a spare to my 49 1/2 ton for quite a while. I think it is now time to get off my hump. If you don't need both rims, I would gladly make a donation and pay for shipping for one.
Harvey,
I'm sure you installed the visor as instucted. Yours looks a lot like mine. I never thought about the possibility of it blowing off, but then again I have yet to take my truck on the highway. My bigger concern has been a wheel falling off or my brakes failing
I noticed that. Also, look at some of his previous sales. He appears to be getting a pretty good price for his trucks that lack the not so important stuff like engine, transmission, etc.
what Old Navy would do with the old trucks they use as displays in many of their stores after that marketing campaign had ran it's course? We'll sell them on eBay ofcourse!
See ebay listing here
Dutch, you are right I did have too much time on my hands last night, but was looking to improve my software skills.
Dave, I'm just a novice with photoshop but thanks for the compliment.
MBFowler, I can take the truck as far South as you care to see, but this site would probably censor it.
I remember that on a forum member's personal website there were instructions on how to make your own visor. Anyone remember who that is?
If you want an original, I would suggest Loupees Classic Car Parts on eBay. They seem to have quite an inventory. I was able to get a missing piece to my Fulton sunvisor from them.
