  1. I stopped my order with collector auto supply because Andy Bernbaum had them for $8 each instead of $13
  2. Just ordered them, thanks
  3. what site do you see them for $13 each ? Thanks I painted them my self.
  4. I received the sender today and made it fit the Plymouth in about 1 1/2 hours. Not that hard to make work. I did it a little different than Bobs procedures, I ground the new sender to fit in the original disc and also ground the original disc hole like grey beard said. I did not have to use any of the original insulation. I installed it and it was indicating perfect. Here are some pics.
  5. No, they did not. I Didn't know there was any, where can I find them?
  6. Wow, How did you even get the front door open with all that snow?
  7. As long as it is dry out I try to take the Plymouth out once a week. Sometimes I skip a week or two but for the most part I go all year round.
  8. Notice I said good. Yes,I have an auto store near me that has been in the biz for years. I went in with my old starter and he pulled a new (rebuilt one) off the shelf. So far he had or was able to get everything I asked for so far.New head bolts,pistons/rings/bearings, original NOS muffler and even had the layout of the exhaust so he bent me new pipes. Guess I am real lucky and to top it off the owner is a friend of a friend so he helps me out with good prices.
  9. I used the card today in New York, then they saw the charges from Georgia and that put up a red flag
  10. were the drums glazed over? Take some sand paper to them that should help
  11. yea, they issued me a new account number
  12. Just got a call from Discover card asking if I made any purchases in Georgia. I told them No!! , someone bought some gas, $35 worth of McDonald's (must have been hungry) and a few other items today. Its amazing how quick they caught that and notified me. They told me the people who have my number must have access to a card reader and made a clone of my card. Hope they catch them!!!
  13. you should be able to go to a good auto parts store and pick up a rebuilt starter and give your core to them. That's what I did could be driving in a few hours.
  14. I'm sure I don't have a hook up like that on my carter carb but like I said I have no problems with fouling. Good work, you are going to be very pleased driving around without that smell and headache
  15. I am surprised that you were even able to get it started with 4 gauge on there
  16. you should try to put a pressure gauge on it and set up a valve so the air will stay in the tank, put pressure in it let it sit and check the gauge. If it reads the same when you left it its good to go.
  17. yea, It was nice to go for a little drive anyway. Any time in the Plymouth is a good time (For the most part, right "47heaven").
  18. I do not have any fouling and don't think I have another port to hook up to. There is a brass plug on the carb that might be one. Can you send a pick of where you hooked up yours?
  19. I thought air was brought in through the oil fill tube anyway?
  20. Just got back from the spring shop and the guy overbooked his shop so no room for me I have to call back next tuesday
  21. 6 volt made for LED's ?
  22. Frank, how did you know that picture was taken in my front room? Are you spying on me?????? Babe, lock the door!!!
  23. If you were in my house I think you would find some type of part in almost every room.I have a exhaust manifold that has been on my dining room table for the past few weeks(its clean freshly sand blasted). I am still a bachelor well for the next 7 months
  24. Not too bad could have been a lot worse. Lucky you did not bend the bumper
