Now, Reg... As I explained at the BBQ, I wasn't referring to your truck with my "butt-ugly" comment. I was referring to the first truck in that string - the one with the black low-side box. For thde benefit of those not privy to our conversation (and my apparently feeble and unsuccessful attempt at an apology), I thought the black color on the low-side box against the cab color accentuated the size difference and magnified the pilot-house style way out of proportion. My opinion is that the high-side box nicely balances out the very tall cab design of these trucks. So there...

As far as I know it's original. It was pretty straight to begin with and, yes, I had a great body man. His real work, though, was on the rear fenders - they were pretty dinged up.

I had a pin-stripe guy do mine. I figured their hands are steadier than mine. I did the silver color and it turned out rally nice. I think it looks better than white...

I'll be there. I also got in touch with Charlie and he'll be there (he's the guy with the red and white hemi-powered '51. Also, I dropped a flyer off at Elk Grove Radial Tire Service. John, the owner, has a B3C flatbed. Fianlly, I'm trying to get my neighbor to come. He just finished a '48 Ford flatbed and has several old Dodges sittin' around his place. -

Regarding this car, what's the parts availability, particularly body panels. Does anyone make reproduction/replacement rocker panels, floorboards, trunck floors, etc.? What about trim pieces? How 'bout the top bows and other pieces?
