I've got the bucket and 4 x 4's. Hey, it's a start. I've also got the pipe tobacco can but it's Granger, what my Gramps used to smoke. That and cigars. As a kid I loved the way his car smelled.(1950 Plymouth 4 door Special DeLux ; learned to drive in that baby) Nothing like a good cigar.

Spent the afternoon over at Cole Palen's Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. This Sat and Sun will be the last air shows os the year with the museums closing on the 26th. Was a beautiful day and some of the pilots were out practicing their "Delsey Dive" routine.

Tether the hoist to the garage so it doesnt roll forward when you pick up a motor. Maybe a come-along would help. doesn't take much of a slope to get out of control. Lift the engine off the truck. Pull the truck forward. Lower the engine to just off the ground. Pull the whole thing into the garage.

Get a bigger wagon for the pumpkin. And good luck with the motors. I take it you dont have an engine hoist.

I remember long ago, a young feller at the place I was working at was rebuilding a VW engine. He walnut shell blasted the engine cases. Got it altogether and running and then had to do it again...forgot to clear the oil passages.

I think they were talking about drinking a lot of wine and then going to the bathroom but I could be way off.

Stopped by to see these beauties and watch and listen to them start up and fly. For $2,200.00 you can fly the P-51 for a half hour. I think it would be worth every penny but I left my logbook home...
