  1. Plymouthy Thank you , I went with the multimeter and found no power to X Checked my power source and found a wire off under the tape . everything works three brake lights , signal lights . only problem is the pilot light stays on and the little green indicators don't light up Is it normal for the light to stay on
  2. I tried switching the wires on the BL switch it made no difference
  3. the power is from the power side of the brake light switch .
  4. I am not sure what the pilot is I think it is the bulb if that is the case it was on the end of the indicator arm and yes it worked The new pilot light does not work.
  5. The good news is the flasher works and it must be grounded. Ok I will check all my connections I have double checked all the wires and postinotes to see if I made a mistake .They are good . Maybe a connector has separated .
  6. Ok yes the park lights still work . Your second point i can't do because when i hook up power both signal lights come on I can turn them off by turning the right or left indicator arm . If I turn right the right goes out and the same for the other side When the brake is depressed the centre light works but once again have no idea if the others are working Now I had my wife press on the brake and put the right signal light on now the light is flashing ,We did the same with the left and had the same result . I have realy messed it up
  7. I have ordered a new flasher from Napa incase it was the problem
  8. Yes I change them last year . I had a signal stat 400 before it worked fine , all I did was mark all the wires with postinotes and hooked up the new SL
  9. Plymouthy I hope this helps
  10. It won't let me it says my black and white diagram is over 3 mb
  11. I am trying hold on
  12. Hi Plymouthy . No the wire colours are different .But other than that it seems to be the same Also when I turn on the signal light it shuts off the light on that side
  13. Hi I have a wiring problem . I just finished wiring my signal stat 900 . I was advised to get the power from the power side of the brake switch . I have finished wiring following the wiring diagram . The diagram shows the grey/ black wire going to the stop light switch so i assumed it would attack to the non power side which I did The last thing I did was power up the flasher . The flasher is a Napa 6 V # 535 . I also changed the bulb to a 6V I hooked up the power and the rear tail lights are on and nothing else works as it should Can not figure out what I did wrong . I am assuming I have power tail lights are on . Any suggestions
  14. You have a very nice car. Be careful ordering parts for your car.Especially the drivetrain and brakes . I always mention that my car is Canadian made and that helps .
  15. Thanks Silverdome I will contact them on Monday

  19. I am wondering would an american P15 bumper be different than a canadian P15 ? Could it possibly be a front bumper?
  20. Hi I also had problems with my pinion seal leaking . I should point out that my car is a Canadian 1948 dodge which is basically a P15 with dodge badging. I also ordered a replacement seal from AB . it leaked from day one .I got a tip from Desoto 1939 to try a NationalOil seal for a 1946-1948 D0dge #5851 which crosses over to the Victor Seal 49230 . I tried it and it hasn't leaked since . Good luck
  21. That is nice .Is it one of yours Plymouthy?
  22. Thanks White Spyder I was wondering how you managed placing them in the taillights. I have already purchased the lights and will wait for warmer weather. Thanks again
  23. Merry Christmas everyone
  24. Thank you White Spider that is definitely another option.
