Plymouthy Adams
Lou being a lawyer and all can get away with an "arrest me red" car...when you coming to diner and drive that beast so I can see it?
Don Coatney
Lou; That looks like the car made for a Milwaukee driveway. Dont get too attached as you can most likley make a lawyers fee for selling it.

Plymouthy Adams
I've always been partial to the 56 Ford, shaved, with western mags..blackwalls etc etc..smooooth and sleek lines..as a punk in high shcool working at the local Texaco station..the owner had one like that I drove to and from work..he was a trusting soul..312 with 3 on the floor... Norm's Coupe
Lou, Don is right. I do like that year Fords. Would prefer the 2 door hardtop, but the 2 door sedan works almost as good. Geez, you can't be selling your coupe now. Too many of us are trying to do that already, and none of us even have any offers that I know of. That's the only way to buy a car. Already done except for any dress up features an individual wants. If I had that Ford, it would be lowered a little, a set of full length drag pipes and a nice set of Merc style cruiser skirts on it. Oh, and just for Don, a pair of big red "fluffy dice" hanging from the mirror.
Don Coatney
Lou; You best contact driveway man and make a trade.
Plymouthy Adams
Don...I would be concerned if Norm's curb at the end of the driveway would allow lowering and pipes..would hate to see even a brand F car scraped up..
Norm's Coupe
Tim, We do not have curbs where I live and the hill isn't that steep where a slightly lowered car would drag. Wife's little Kia Spectra sits really low. You can't even pull the front wheels up to a parking stop without it hitting the frame. But.......it does not drag going in and out of the driveway. randroid
Lou, Being a Furd, I must ask if the drip pan is OEM or aftermarket? -Randy
Plymouthy Adams
with the GM engine..it is not important if OEM or aftermarket..just make sure there is a drip pan under it...kinda like Lucas and the warm beer/refrigerator joke...the dripping engine is so a blindman would know its a GM... pflaming
I'd love to have your '50 fast back but can't this year. Post a picture, my first car was a '50 fastback. Can't tell all that happened in that car! Drove it to CA in '58. Had a couple cans of beer to open when we crossed the CA border. Salt Lake City is a dry town, driving through some high school boys were driving along side, so we threw a can to them. When they opened it it all turned to foam and most of the contents went to the ceiling. Never forget how we all laughed.
Brendan D25
That is a beautiful car Lou, 50's style with a few modern touches. This one I seen on another site, looks similar.
No Bux Rod
Lou, Nice find. The ford looks like a replacement for your Camry. Especially if it's going to be your daily driver. N B R
