Robin (UK) Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Guys, I've come up with this design for a card that I'm going to carry with me, to help recruit new enthusiasts to our very special part of the worldwide web. I've kept it simple, so it can be printed or photocopied cheaply. If any of you would like me to send a high-resolution copy, so you can have your own cards printed, just email me direct (Robin@RockTheJoint.com) and I'll send the file. Quote
Young Ed Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Robin are you having those printed up as business cards or bigger? Perhaps we could have someone here in the US get them printed as business cards and distributed amongst us. I would make a donation to get some. Just thinking of it that way because having them printed usually gets you a thousand or more. Quote
Allan Faust Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 And with business cards.... 10 per page, 250 per pack (avery 8376 or another # for white.... I'm working on beige cards for someone right at this moment) for $10... its not that expensive.... But its a really good idea Robin.... Makes me think of the latest 2 auto restorers (in a bad way for once). They wrote up on "help" for post war mopars and mentioned old plymouths, bernbaum, roberts, and a couple of others... but no mention of here.... and even after I wrote to em about here.... still no mention..... because this place is the BEST help..... Actually, I'd originally envisaged them as business cards, to keep in my wallet and in the glovebox of my Plymouth. But I guess they could also be produced as postcards to leave under windshield wipers if we want to be more aggressive with our promotion!!! Quote
NatesSedan Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 That is a great idea. We have cards printed at home of our car and I will do this as well. I alwys mention the site but it as we know remembering sites people rattle off can be tough. With a card they wouldn't forget. Kudos Robin! They look good too!~ Quote
oldmopar Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 used the image as a clickable link on my website. Link at bottom of this message Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 I just brought up the picture, clicked on "print" under the "File" heading at upper left of my screen. Then went in and reduced the size of the item to be printed to 52 percent of original. That makes it come out the right size for a regular business card. A person could then print cards from there. Of course I don't have any of the card printing paper handy. May also make a larger copy for putting in or on the car. Quote
Robin (UK) Posted June 30, 2008 Author Report Posted June 30, 2008 I just worked up another version (Bob, you may prefer this one). I've done it with my own contact details, but if anyone else wants a personalised version with their own details (name, email, tel no. etc) let me know and I'll add the text and send you the file. Specify convertible or sedan and which text you want. Quote
Young Ed Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Can you make me one with a coupe thats missing all its stainless and has primer spots all over it hahaha Quote
steveplym Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Great idea Robin! Going to be out at car shows and cruises the next few weeks. Will have a car to give people when they ask me what's with the p15-d24 shirt. Quote
David Maxwell Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 ...for our POC Golden State Region and they're great. On the backside, there are lines for writing contact information. You might want to add that to yours as I've found it to be very useful. Quote
Robin (UK) Posted July 2, 2008 Author Report Posted July 2, 2008 Guys, Now you have a choice of 2-door sedan, coupe or convertible. I've sent a few personalised versions out If anyone else wants their name/email/tel included just send me a message with details and I'll make the change for you. Quote
