james curl Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Was over on the H.A.M.B. site looking at cars for sale and came across Pete's 50 Plymouth ad and his Chev Pick up ad. Looks like he is serious about selling one or both of his vehicles. Quote

Dennis Hemingway Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 I'm sorry to hear that Pete has his Plymouth for sale. He and his sons have so many memories and work in that car. I think they will miss it. Hope everything is well with him and his family. Dennis Quote

Don Coatney Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Pete; You need to move to a place where there are no long winters and keep your jalopy:cool: Quote

Norm's Coupe Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Memories or not. If you need to get rid of the car or truck, or both for whatever reason, I wish you luck on the sale. We all have to do what we feel is best at the time. I've even thought of selling my coupe a few times over the past few months. Would be nice to just get the garage back. Right now my van sits out and gets full of snow in the winter. Gets a little old having to clean it off all the time. But........guess I'll hang on a little longer and see how it goes. Quote
jd52cranbrook Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 You certainly helped me plenty with your web site info, and on here. I really want to thank you for that, and wish you well in whatever course you take. John Quote

Guest rockabillybassman Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Geez andy, I was just going to ask the same question. The nearest we get to snow is on the mountain tops in the distance. Marty, signing off from sunny Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. (the So Cal of the south pacific.. ) Quote
blueskies Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Funny, I don't see any snow in Don's pictures... hit reload for the pics, my server is still f'd up... Pete Quote
Don Coatney Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Pete; Sudden thought on your vibrations. Could it be the snow on the road causing the vibrations? Have you tried driving it on a road with no snow? Course you may have to wait until June or July to try that:D Quote

Norm's Coupe Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Pete; You need to move to a place where there are no long winters and keep your jalopy:cool: Don, I don't have a picture of my deck with the snow on it from this past winter. However, this is right next to the deck and the snow was just as deep on the deck. You are welcome to come any winter when the snow is this deep and enjoy a cup of coffee dressed as you are, on my deck. The pile you are looking at is only about 4' to 4 1/2 feet deep. There is a 3 foot picket garden fence under it. Quote
JerseyHarold Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 I lived in Buffalo for a few years and can honestly say I don't miss the snow AT ALL! Quote
