Thanks fellows,

I have this odd itch and my wife thinks the little Rover is "cute". It appears to be all there except the horn button, which may be in there somewhere.

The Rovers are good cars if there is no rust. I had a 1961 and 64, 3 litre, twin carbs, 4 spd. od. I also had a 1959 Wolesley another nice British car. Neil, at least take it for a spin perhaps you might like it and your wife might like the leather and wood interior.

Rover is to the British what a Buick or maybe Chrysler would be to us; a fitting car for a moderately successful businessman or attorney. not TOO flash, just stately enough. they're really nice cars and ride well, plenty of grunt, smooth pulling power. trouble with them is that "banger" racers (what we'd call demo derby) tear them all to hell for fun.
