OT Question Comment on Religious controversy OT

So the local Catholic Diocese has closed several churches due to lack of clergy to staff them. There was a story on the news about the fact that the Bishop sent one of his minions and a sheriff's deputy, to one of the closed churches in a nearby village, to evict some folks who were holding a vigil and keeping the building open.

A couple folks were removed by threat of arrest, the doors were locked and NO TRESPASSING signs were affixed to the doors. We happened to go by the other day and spotted the signs.

Almost unbidden the thought came into my head that I should have a sign made the says "Forgive us our Trespasses", and attach it below the signs some evening. My wife says NO! but I keep coming back around to the fact it needs doing. Whaddya think????

Stick it to them mate, legalism is the enemy of honest faith. Besides that, the catholic church owns half of europe surely it can keep one building open! That's my two cents, I'll shut up now...
