greg g Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 The engine was supposed to be a secrete design Pops came up with but the plans were stolen by his former employer. Ther may be a model T engine in it in some of the episodes, but everybody knows it should have been a Hemi V8 from Toyota. Yes they did look it up. search toyota limosine. Quote
knuckleharley Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Guys,I probably didn't watch a total of 10 hours of television between 1964 and 1985. Didn't watch much from 85-90,either. Too busy partying and chasing women from 64-85,and too busy working after that. Quote
toddbracik Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Speaking of Japanese animation, anyone remember G Force? I wasn't too crazy about it but it was on in the morning before the bus picked me up. That was 77 or 78. Also, how bout Tom Slick? Those were reruns by the time I saw them though. George of the jungle too. "Watch out for that tree" I would give anything to get my hands on anything with speed racer on it. I had speed racer pajama wall clock cereal bowl everything! When I was going up I would run home to see speed racer and his brother racer X. pops and chim chim, don't know what his mother's name was, Sprital could build a car out of anything and it usually was a model A. Those cars fasinated me so much. I one episode I remember that gave me nightmares was the one with the motor buried at the grave yard it had a number on it does anybody remeber what that number was? It would make the donor car run so fast that you had to drink a potion to help you handle it however it made you very thursty, if you drank water it would make you loose your nerve and you could never drive fast again. Here he comes here comes speed racer........ YEAH!! The Mach 5 Quote

greg g Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 To much Incense and peppermint triggered a indigestion fueled halucination of a clock being chased by a redhaired doll figure. Or maybe they needed to get up early to catch the magic bus along Penny Lane to strawberryfields, on a Who are you trip to self awarness. Quote

Joe Flanagan Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 It had to have had something to do with hallucinogenic drugs. Crystal blue persuasion, pictures of matchstick men, vanilla fudge. OK, maybe the last one had more to do with an eating binge. What's a Shondell anyway? Quote
