It's amazing how cars seen damaged in movie car chases sometimes miraculously get better panels in the next shot....

But I've never before seen one change from a 2-door to a 4-door and back again!!!

Obviously, PLYMOUTH BUILD BETTER CARS.

Actually, the 57/8 Plymouth becomes a 60 Dodge. If you look closely the 4 door is a dodge with add on tail fins. I think there might even be a couple shots of it before the fins were added. Wonder how the roof pillars on the chase car got cut off so squarley by the crossing gate???? Somebody must have been running around with a reciprocal saw, cause the roof on the car in the sandwich came off mighty easily also.

Lets guess, the saloon doing th chasing is a Rootes Group Marque, perhaps a mid 60's Hillman Hunter.

That light blue chase car must have been one hot AMC.....or at least it

resembles one.

That was pretty neat how a Plymouth turned into a Dodge.

I watched it and a few of the others. God, the music was bad. I kept waiting to hear it was a Quinn Martin Production. Very 70s all of them with a lot of bad flute. For some reason though it is fun to watch cars race. Eric
