Guest P15-D24 Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Lots of look alikes on ebay, but this set matched the rather unique lens pattern seen in the parts book. (long bar, two very short bars. ) Little bead blasting and they should look new. And the "hood" is adjustable so they can be used for either front fender or cowl mounting (my preference). And the set I got actually works! Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Here is a picture of a factory turn signal switch and cable driven tach on my 4 tonner. It`s got the hooded arrow turn signals on the truck too. Bob Quote
Reg Evans Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Very cool accessories. Did you find the tach and switch or were they on the truck? Does your 4 tonner have the factory dual intake and exhaust? Quote
Bob_Koch Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 glad you got those. I've never seen the real thing before Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 The truck came with all the above , dual intake/exhaust,distributor cable driven tach, HD turn signal switch and factory rear view inside mirror too. Bob Quote
Falcon(63) Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Were they accesssorys? Everyone I have seen has had the regular fender mounted lights without the arrow. Nice item! Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 The lights and turn signals were an optional item. There are two styles of optional turn signal switches. The one in the above pic is kinda a strange looking factory T/S switch and then there is another that looks more like a 50`s style car/truck after market switch but is also a factory mopar truck T/S switch. The 1948-53 Dodge truck parts book shows all of the above. Bob Quote
H Suhling Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 My '51 B-3-B had the same T/S switch as shown in the picture above but had to do away with it when I Incorporated the rear turn signals in with the tail lights. Harvey Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 Here`s some more of these lights. There is a couple different styles. Quote
Falcon(63) Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 Wow, I have parted out 10 of these babies over the past year and have yet to see lights like that. Pretty neat. Quote
Young Ed Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 I've been looking for a set of those lights for a while now. Even the generic aftermarket arrow ones are hard to find. Quote
