Pep48 Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 For those of you who are OCD clock watchers... A holder for your pocket watch. 3 1 1 Quote
Ivan_B Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 Great find, never seen it either. It kind of makes sense, though. Considering the time when pocket watches were mainstream, this is for an older car where there is no clock. Probably intended for professional drivers who are on schedule. So that you don't have to reach into your pocket, all the time, you just put the watch on the steering wheel, right in front of you. Very convenient. Quote
plymouthcranbrook Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 The first in dash(sorta) clock. Be a great addition to any early 30’s and before vehicle. A businessman's coupe or a truck come to mind. Quote
soth122003 Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 I'd like to get one of those for the pocket watches I have. Joe Lee 4 Quote
rustyzman Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 (edited) I'm a big pocket watch fan. I would absolutely dedicate one of mine to a vehicle. I have also seen that accessory once before, not too long ago. Judging by the illustration of the steering wheel, that one was meant for very early cars, though the phillips screw brings the manufacture date to a bit later... Interesting... Super cool.
