greg g Posted December 11 Report Posted December 11 I have following this fellow for other content. Pete was at an architectural firm but recently ditched his 9 to 5 to take over his family's farm. I find his and his wife's approach to agricultur and life refreshing. Their care of animals, and his approach to mechanical bits neceessay to farming show a broad knowledge base as well as common sense. In the linked you tube post he begins reassembling the engine from his grandfather's 52 International Harvester farm truck. I know it's an OHV setup, but most procedures are applicable to a flat heads. So grab another cup of coffee and sit in in his shop. This is a two part post, the second part should be linked from there. Quote
Dave72dt Posted December 11 Report Posted December 11 I watched both segments and found the process effective. Sequence of some tasks are different as well as some of the tricks I use. Quote
Sam Buchanan Posted December 11 Report Posted December 11 (edited) I've been watching Pete's videos for a few years and they are easy and pleasant to watch. He also enjoys restoring old tractors, has a pretty good collection in his barn. He isn't a formally trained mechanic so many of us can relate to how he does his projects.
