Welded 3/16 x 1 5/8 x 4” straps and kit brackets to lower A Frames. Used existing holes for frame mounts. Drilled two front mount holes.

Thanks for this post.  One of our car group members has several 63 and 64 chevy Impala's.  And he replaced the front end on one of them.  Like most old car people he doesn't throw stuff away.  I asked him about it and he gave the sway bar to me.   I just have to track down a mounting kit for it.

The 47 P15 has a front sway bar but it's tiny.  This one from a 64 Impala should make a big difference.

Will this 58 to 64 Impala sway bar also fit a 1948 P15 as well as the 50?

You didn't understand my question? I thought it was self explanatory. Will a 1958 to 1964 Impala front sway bar fit a 1948 P15. Are the 48 and 50 frames similar enough that the bar will fit both? Hope this helps.

maybe I did misread, the  WILL THIS is in question form and I had thought you had left off the picture......many folks here have little to no X brand part specs...

50 Coupe man answered back that the 58 to 64 Impala front sway bar will fit both the 50 and 48 frame. Just for clarification in case someone else wants to know. Thanks for your input. Hope this info helps others. Have a great Turkey day!

50 Coupe man: Just wanted to thank you on this Christmas eve for the info on the Impala Sway bar. I bought one from Speedway and finished the installation yesterday. As you said it fit like a glove. It's been too wet to drive after all I live in the Pacific Northwest Ha. Just wanted to let know about the fit on my 48 P15. Thanks again for your input. Also for information I used a Tri-5 Chevy e-brake assembly to go along with my Tri-5 Chevy rear axle. I'm sure Plymouthy Adams will chime in! Ha I always enjoy his feedback.
