greg g
Very nice but a cold start, and drive around the block, or accelerating up a hill would be a very much appreciated follow up. Your 34 is a beauty for sure.

Semmerling
I appreciate it, 4 generations and 35 years of work for me and my son.
sidevalvepete
Thanks for posting and doing the video. My view here is nothing but supportive. Your vehicle has a family story of generational pleasure in a fine automobile. Seems like that will continue, given your son's involvement with you. Somehow, all these enhancements seem to suit this vehicle too. I am envious of some of the folks you are able to collaborate with in these projects - George Ashe etc. To be fair though, I don't devalue some of the guys down here in NZ. Have met some great enthusiasts and craftsmen in this game. It's just great to see these things. Thanks again.
greg g
Here is a video from 2011 of my 46 Plymouth doing a long uphill climb in NY'S Catskill Mtns. Fresh rebuilt 56 Plymouth 230 with dual George Ashe Carters on a Fenton intake. It probably had about 7000 miles on it back the. Temp steady at 170, oil pressure 45 psi speed around 60 with about 1/3 throttle. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xlw1mt Edited June 29 by greg g
48ply1stcar
Question to Greg G I have a 48 4door with a rebuilt 56 230 and I am looking into different types of carb set-ups. Is your conversion to a two carbs posted on the forum? Also I change the oil pan on my 56 motor to a pan with the pick up in the rear to accommodate the steering, I assume you did the same. greg g
Carbs not really documented. I put up a couple shots of my shade tree hardware store throttle linkage but was back in 2004 or so. Yes I swapped oil pan and pickup plumbing from 218 to 230. Starter and generator as well.
