While not an old Mopar, techniques and desire to change things still prevail, if you look in my carpet picture it will tie into yet another popular thread now going on with thresholds.  This particular car NEVER got thresholds cover from the factory....so...a went on walk-about at the local wrecking yard and gleaned these Mopar donors....

Hey Tired Iron, the carpet looks great. Couple of questions though. Is the Master cylinder under the floor and does your car have the removable floor pan? If yes to the MC did you make any allowances for ease of service to it? Same with the floor pan?

Hi Joe,

I took out the master (it was toast) and installed a modern 2 circuit master on the firewall.  So, I covered up that old area with new metal.  And thanks!

Speaking of carpet; my 1951 DeSoto two door custom has a fitted rubber mat in the front (obviously original) and carpet in the rear.

Is this normal?
