Went to take off arm rest on my 48 Woodie door and after removing one small screw under it to expose the bottom of rest I see no bolts or screws to remove it off the door panel.  Can anyone enlighten me as to how to remove it?

Not sure about a Woodie, but the regular door handle (we are talking about the front arm rests, I assume) is attached by two machine screws, one on each side. Should be visible from below. Some of them you can even twist up and remove, no need to take the screws out. Do you have a picture of your handle, from the bottom?

On my 1948 C39 T&C ...under the arm rest door there are two slotted round head screws attaching the arm rest to the door.

The two screws are there.

I could go out and take a picture of mine...but I am positve the screws are right behind the arm rest flap door....possibly hidden under the folded/glued  over upholstry trimmings.
