Heater core 54 Plymouth

Have had a lot of trouble finding a heater core for my 54 Savoy. Don't want to have to trust a used one, but also don't want to pay 3x what a heater core normally costs. Does anyone know of an available heater core that fits in the box and has pipe locations close enough to use?

Can't really think of any drop in replacements. You might want to take a chance on a used one. Unlike the radiators in our cars the neater core (to the best of my knowledge) isn't honey combed like the rads. So even if a used one leaks, it can be a simple fix at a radiator shop.

You might consider taking the box to a radiator shop and explain what you want. They should be able to make or adapt something?

That is what I did for a 50 Plymouth under hood type of heater radiator and had replaced by the shops choice of replacement out of a book they had that had the sizes and outlet types and they ordered one and did they replacement .

Was not cheap for some reason I do not understand but it was was done and worked great-  Also too hot in the car!

the 4 season book at most big box stores may be a good look through for matching up...
