mokid1234 Posted August 20, 2023 Report Posted August 20, 2023 I am finally getting around to doing my interior. In fact I have the rear seat finished. However when I put the bottom in it looks like I am missing the support. I found a couple of bolt holes and there are two tabs sticking up on the pan, but nothing for the seat to hook onto. My wife and I have tore the garage apart but fond nothing to fit in there. I have searched the net for days but can't seem to find even a picture. If someone could post a picture or even some correct nomenclature, I would have some where to go. This is on 47 plymouth club coupe. By the way I found another post where they were asking for the same info, but no replies it would be interesting to find out how he solved the problem. Quote
Sniper Posted August 20, 2023 Report Posted August 20, 2023 On my 51 there is nothing to hook onto. The tabs are all there is. I looked in the parts manual to see what I could see, I see nothing useful, lol. Quote
Solution LazyK Posted August 21, 2023 Solution Report Posted August 21, 2023 seat bottom is held in by the seat back and the two tabs on the pan. Quote
mokid1234 Posted August 21, 2023 Author Report Posted August 21, 2023 Thanks, but now the wife is upset. We spent hours in the hot, cluttered garage looking for a nonexistent part. ? Quote
joecoozie Posted August 21, 2023 Report Posted August 21, 2023 You have to put the seat bottom cushion in on an angle (back part down and under the rear seat/back cushion) and while holding the front of the cushion up (slightly) push the cushion in and under the back cushion Quote
