DJK
Does anyone have a source or part number for the inverted flare fitting 3/16" X 1/8" with a .030 orifice opening for the bypass oil filter fittings that attach to the 218 block? I have tried my local mom and pop auto parts store, Mcmaster/Carr, Edelmann etc. Thanks. PS the Edelmann part number is 124320, but the orifice is too large. Solution Sniper Posted July 22, 2023 Solution Report Share Posted July 22, 2023 Solder it closed and drill a .030" hole in it.
Dodgeb4ya
Oil pressure gauge uses the smallest oriface fitting to eliminate needle fluctation. Use the typical larger #124320 fittings on the oil filter.

When I salvaged my oil filter system it was plumbed with the restrictor on the filter. EDIT I just took a look and it is as Dodgeb4ya said. Small hole on the gauge.
