low side bed part 1948 pilothouse

does anyone know of a parts supply for lower bed panels that mount to rear of fender and extend to the tail gate?  These are on the low side or market bed only.  High side has them built in.  I found a passenger side but can't seem to locate a driver's side.

If those are the same as my 56, and I think they are, they are just a flat piece of metal with a couple of bends/flanges and holes.   Cut to size, bend the edges with a sheet metal break and cut/drill holes.  Probably easier and cheaper to fab locally rather than ordering, IF one could find a source, I haven't seen one.   I have one that is sort of beat up that will get copied in some 18ga stainless.  Just because I have stainless that I salvaged from a soft serve ice cream machine years ago.  

But, to do that easily, one needs a pattern or original to copy.

I have the same bed on my ‘53, the drivers side is a mirror image of the passenger side but I believe it is shorter because the license plate hangs off the taillight behind it. That’s how mine is, maybe someone modified it.

I bought my truck in 2018, I am missing the same piece. I have never seen a source for them.

I do have the passenger side to use as a pattern & plan to just make one when it is time.

thanks for input, was lucky enough to find one locally, rare chance but all good to go from here on.
