Young Ed Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Got the old cars stored away saturday. Truck went into storage a couple weeks ago but I snapped a picture of the heater install. Then today went with Dad practically to Iowa to pick up his new 55 IHC R120. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 tell me...does that heater have BF Goodrich stamped on it? Looks like one I have here at the house Quote
Young Ed Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 Tim That's a mopar model 36. Factory heater for a 46 dodge pickup. I did use a p15 knob on the fan switch which is in the place of my throttle cable. I suppose it would have had some sort of little control panel for the knobs and knobs to match the truck ones if I had the whole truck setup. Quote
Jim Yergin Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Ed, Looks great. Nice work. Jim Yergin Quote
Young Ed Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 Thanks. Anyone able to name the source of the other knob that doesn't match? I know where it came from just testing you guys. Quote
oldmopar Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Thanks. Anyone able to name the source of the other knob that doesn't match? I know where it came from just testing you guys. Looks like a 51-52 Plymouth Quote
Young Ed Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 And you would be right. Well i think it came out of a 50 but they are the same. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 The silver one......maybe 54 Plymouth. Quote
Young Ed Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Posted November 13, 2007 Could be they were still using those knobs by 54. I think maybe by 54 they were only on the heater controls though. Thats a headlight knob. Quote
Joel Torres Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 did you guys steal that truck???? looks like the farmer was shooting at ya while you where driving off with his truck Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 might explain how they have been amasing so many cars and trucks lately... Quote
Young Ed Posted November 14, 2007 Author Report Posted November 14, 2007 We have acquired a few lately. While they were all purchased at least one may have been a "steal" Quote
