Hello all. Have had this car for around 18 years now. And haven't had time to do anything with it until now.

Pretty much has everything I need for the car but 3 things right now that I know of.

 1. Vin tag. Have the title for the car. It was inspected by highway patrol when I bought it to get a title from a bill of sale. But when it went into storage vin tag was taken off so we could sand the body down and primer it to keep it from rusting more. Now the tag has ended up getting lost. Any place to get a replacement tag?

 2. Hood emblem. Seem to have miss places the ship emblem for the hood also. Any replicas made for these cars sold? As the only ones I find are usually on ebay and pitted and cracked. And wanting 300+ for them.

 3. Rear window. Does anyone make the curved rear windows for this car? Bought what I was told was the right one a few years back and wasn't for mine. Believe it was for a p15. And I believe mine is a p18. Does anyone make these curved glass anymore? Or am I gonna have to modify the rear window to fit a flat glass?

Tia for any help on this.

Thanks Marc. Was hoping that wasn't the answer for the window question. As around here most salvage yards crush cars once they hit 20 years old. Have only found 1 in north dakota that has classics on the lot and haven't found a club coupe there.

Guess I'll start checking southern states to see if I can find any.

Thanks again

Try French Lake Auto in Wisconsin.  They have some older stuff there and are easy to work with.

As for the VIN tag, I know of no one making them.  In TX they use the engine number instead anyway.  Which is going to be interesting when I swap in the 230 I am building for my 51.

Thanks sniper. I sent french lake a message hoping they have something. And I don't have motor. But it's already titled so hopefully tag won't be an issue for me. Just want one to finish the body.

And Doug & Deb thanks I'll check with Moores.

Go to AACA website.  They have a free For Sale and Wanted ads.  Put in a wanted ad.  I've found lots of parts that way.  but beware of scammers.  There are dishonest people who will say they have everything you want for a low price.  Send me the money and I'll send it.  verify that they have it first and buy it with a credit card so you can do a charge back if they don't send it.  Ask for pics too and tell them to put a banana next to the part to make sure they don't rip a pic off of the Internet.
