I think I saw some place that the 51 Plymouth had the electric windshield wipers.  Has anyone done a physical comparison, to see if that (or another) electric unit could be adapted to the P15?

(I tested the wiper motor out of the 93 Chrysler T & C I scrapped out 10 years or so back, and it will run on 6 volts.  Sure, not as fast, and I haven't timed it to see the actual difference, but wondering if that would work as well, to use a 12 volt motor on 6 volts.)

P15 setup vs 46-48 dodge electric. Sure looks like it'll fit to me but I've been told it won't and I've never gotten around to actually trying it

I see that on the site Sniper referenced, they list the Plymouth and Dodge 46-48 for the same item.

I wish I could still go talk to the radio-technology tech we had on our mission center in Brazil. He taught me how to rewind a 120 VAC motor, and I wonder if a person couldn't rewind a 12 volt motor as 6 volt, maybe by just using half as much wire at twice the gauge.
