pflaming Posted February 12, 2022 Report Posted February 12, 2022 (edited) I just bought a 277 semi hemi (poly I believe) for my truck. I hate to remove the flat head, but I need more power. Any suggestions? I Edited February 12, 2022 by pflaming Quote
RobertKB Posted February 13, 2022 Report Posted February 13, 2022 Suggestion………..keep the flathead or if replacing, I thought you had a good spare flattie. Why do you need more power? Putting in a V8 would involve many modifications and a ton of work. Also, I thought you liked the original patina and a V8 would take away from that. Just my thoughts. 1 Quote

JBNeal Posted February 13, 2022 Report Posted February 13, 2022 the C-series was designed to accommodate a V8, but the B-series was not...some have made a V8 fit in a B-series, but it was an involved process. Quote
