fireguyfire Posted December 2, 2021 Report Posted December 2, 2021 My new gasket set arrived for my 1940 1/2 ton and I’m prepping up to install the rear window. Are there any good tips or tricks a guy should know before I get after it? Quote
billrigsby Posted December 2, 2021 Report Posted December 2, 2021 Have not done one of these but from British carts, LOTS of soapy water, STRONG pull cord and TWO people. Wish I was that close! Quote

Wish I was that close! The W series trucks don't use that type of gasket. The setting tape goes on each side of the glass and then the interior trim holds it against the exterior. Quote

fireguyfire Posted December 4, 2021 Author Report Posted December 4, 2021 So the rear window isn’t a formed gasket, but seal tape that goes on each side? Quote
